Brown-lipped snail - Cepaea nemoralis

Even though I was only going to post the bugs that I photographed during our stay at Mackie Lake House while B was the Writer in Residence I couldn't resist posting this beautiful snail that I found crawling on one of the logs in the Fylton Forest. It apparently is an introduced species from Europe.
